Welcome to the Stow UMC Preschool
The purpose of our preschool program is to provide an environment for promoting self-esteem in each child. This is done through an atmosphere of working and playing together for enjoyment, growth, and a greater awareness of the world.
We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and we have earned a One-Star Rating in the Ohio Step Up to Quality Program.
This preschool program has been a part of our church for over 45 years. It is governed by the Preschool Committee consisting of church members. The registrar of the program is Karen McCaffrey who may be reached by calling the church office.
Registration for the preschool is in February, however we will accept registrations at any time if we have openings.
We accept three, four, and five year olds. The schedule and fees are listed below. Each class has one state certified teacher and one assistant. There are no more than 18 children per classroom. (16 in the 3 and 4 year old classes)
All children must be three or four years old by September 30, 2012 to be enrolled in the 3 or 4 year old class.
For children who will turn 5 with late summer birthdays and for older 4 year olds, there is a four- day- a- week class. Children must be 4 by March 31st, 2012.
All students are expected to be potty trained to attend the program per state regulations.

4+/5 Year-Olds (MTWR 9:00-12:00) : Several openings still available!
If you are interested in enrolling or being put on a waiting list, please call the church at 330-673-7752 for a registration packet or to give your name and number for the waiting list.
Class times..... Fall 2012:
3 -Year- Olds: T/TH 9:15-11:45 am
4- Year- Olds: M/W/F 9:15-11:45 am
4+/5 -Year- Olds: M/T/W/TH 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Tuitions:
3-Year-Old: $82/ month for the 9 months that school is in session
4-Year-Old: $113/month for the 9 months that school is in session
4+/5-Year-Old: $144/month for the 9 months that school is in session
There is also a $50 non-refundable registration fee that is due at the time of registration. There is only one fee per family per year.
Tuition is due on the first of each of the nine months from September through May. September's tuition is due on August 1st. Checks may be made out to Stow UMC Preschool and put in the labeled box in the church office by the mailboxes or they can be mailed to the church at 4880 Fishcreek Rd., Stow, OH 44224. Reminder postcards will be mailed out in mid-July.
